"One of the most often repeated definitions of icons is that they are "Doors" or "Gates of Heaven." So the purpose of the icons and images is to bring you into the presence of each Heavenly individual and to allow you to gaze upon them while conversing with them during your prayers in daily life. When you gaze upon them, they also gaze upon you and into you with the transforming love they now hold and give from heaven.

We seek to serve the Church and you by making these icons and images available for your prayer and the increase of love and devotion within yourself, then toward your neighbor, into Holy Church and gracefully, powerfully into our world."
